HiringSolved is a talent intelligence platform that uses AI-powered search and matching tools to support sourcing and staffing. As the Head of Product Design, I am responsible for leading the UX, design and cross-team collaboration to define and drive the product forward.

Our challenge is to design a service that leads the next generation of talent rediscovery and insight tools. Taking a user centered approach, we aim to create a user interface that would be intuitive and easy-to-use for both recruiters and HR managers who are inundated with multiple tools and HR tech platforms already. Hiringsolved’s platform needs to fit into a workflow that enables talent discovery and insights without adding extra steps or slowing down the user’s process.

We started by conducting user research and testing, which helped us understand the needs and pain points of our staffing audience. This information was then used to inform the design of the platform's navigation and layout, as well as the functionality of its various tools. I worked closely with cross-functional teams including customer service, engineering, and sales to define the product vision and move the roadmap forward.

One of the key features is the advanced search capabilities of HiringSolved. The search system has been designed to allow users to quickly and easily find candidates that match their specific requirements. To make this feature as user-friendly as possible, we incorporated a number of design elements such as a simple search bar packed with advanced query tools, and a compact filtering system that allows users to dig deeper into desired filters to narrow down their search results by the criteria that is most relevant.

Another important aspect of the platform is the ability for recruiters to utilize existing job descriptions to quickly find high-quality candidate matches. To support this, we designed a candidate matching system with underlining AI technologies that allows recruiters to quickly discover candidates, easily adjust matching criteria and filter by the quality level of matches.

The platform also offers an automated system to identify candidates coming off placements and contracts, called Talent Redeployment. This feature highlights past and ongoing client to candidate relationships enabling recruiters to target key contracts. The feature has lead to higher retention of talent and increased revenue for clients.

Overall, the design of HiringSolved is focused on providing a seamless and efficient experience for users. The intuitive navigation, powerful search, AI matching tools and talent insights combined with the clean and modern design, all contribute to the platform's effectiveness in accelerating the discovery of talent for recruiter and staffing professionals.
